Best Pokémon

This page contains multiple datasets, all relating to a series of Twitter polls by Out of Context Pokemon to elect the best Pokémon. The top 4 best Pokémon, according to this poll, were, from best to worst: Gengar, Mudkip, Snorlax and Wooper.

A list of each bracket's results. Includes columns for National Pokédex number (as "NatDex"), the Pokémon name ("Pokemon"), its votes ("Votes") and corresponding percentages ("Percentage"). See § What to expect below for examples.

A list of total vote counts for each Pokémon. Includes columns for National Pokédex number (as "NatDex"), the Pokémon name ("Pokemon") and its aggregated vote count across all polls ("Total votes").

Context

On 8 September 2022, Out of Context Pokemon (@OoCPokemon) posted a callout for people's favorite Pokémon on Twitter. The 64 Pokémon that received the most likes within a set timeframe then became part of a bracket-style competition. In alphabetical order, they were the following:

Over the next few days, several Twitter polls were conducted to assess people's favorite Pokémon. The results of these polls is what constitutes this dataset.
